PORT ROWAN

Last Saturday the remains of the late 
R. L. Spencer, aged 83, formerly of this place, were brought here from Hamilton 
for interment.

After a short service, conducted by Rev. J. M. Smith, at the home of James Huyck, the body was taken to the Syprel [sic] burying ground at Carholme for burial.

His wife predeceased him about 18 months ago. Deceased leaves to mourn his loss two sons, Thomas and James of Saskatchewan, and three daughters:
Mrs. Mary Ellison of Hamilton,
Mrs. James Newkirk and Mrs. L. L. Travis of Saskatchewan.

The relatives have the sympathy of the community.
