Local Happenings

Mr. James Arthur Smith of Rockford died in the Hamilton Hospital on Friday last. He had been sick since June with high blood pressure and had been in the hospital about two weeks.

Two daughters and one son survive. They are Mrs. Leonard Schram, and Miss Iva Smith of Rockford, and Chas. E. Smith of Simcoe.

The funeral service was held in the Waterford Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoon. Interment took place in Greenwood Cemetery.
