Barr-Smith 

A very happy event took place Wednesday [16 Mar 1910] at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Smith, Pine Grove Farm, Bealton, when their youngest daughter, Ida L., was united in marriage to Mr. Norman A. Barr. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. D. D. Burtch of Boston.

The bride, who was unattended, was very prettily gowned in white silk mulle, trimmed with baby Irish and Duchess satin, and carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses and lily-of-the valley.

The guests, numbering about 40, sat down to a tasty luncheon, after which the usual toasts were given.

The bride's going away costume was a navy blue broadcloth, with black picture hat. Amid showers of confetti, the happy couple left on the 5.10 train for Detroit, Wheatley and other points west.
