Ted I. Silverthorne of Brantford, son of John Silverthorne of Scotland, Ont., and Miss Myrtle Holbrook of Brantford, eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. S. G. Holbrook of 23 Colborne Street, were married quietly yesterday at nine a.m., at the home of the bride's parents, in the presence of a few immediate relatives, by Rev. N. R. McLeod of Brantford.

The Holbrook home was artistically decorated for the occasion. The bride, attired in a travelling suit of camel brown duvetine, with hat of the same material, approached the altar leaning on the arm of her father, and otherwise unattended, as her sister, Miss Helen, played the wedding processional. The groom also was unattended.

The young couple motored to St. Thomas and entrained there to continue their honeymoon trip. They will be at home at 77 Brock Street, Brantford, after 25 Oct 1921.
