Hancock-Shoff

Park Street Methodist Church, Chatham, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on
15 Sep 1920, when Mildred, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Shoff, formerly of Simcoe, became the bride of Bert, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hancock of Merlin.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. Daniel, pastor of the church.

The bride wore a gown of ivory charmeuse, with silk embroidered veil fashioned in cap effect and trimmed with orange blossoms.

The bridesmaid, Miss Mildred Neiderauer of Simcoe, were a becoming gown of pink Swiss organdie and pink georgette hat with ostrich trimmings.

Among the out of town guests were Mr. Amos Neiderauer and Misses Lydia and Georgina Neiderauer of Simcoe, and Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Piett of Toronto, formerly of Simcoe.
