Robinson-Awde

A pretty wedding took place at 1:30 o'clock on Tuesday, 30 Aug 1910 at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. J. Awde, Delhi, when their daughter, Elizabeth, was united in marriage to Mr. E. S. Robinson of Detroit. The Rev. T. L. Armstrong was the officiating clergyman.

The bride, who was given away by her brother, Frank Awde, wore a pretty gown of white mull, and carried a bouquet of white roses and astars, while the bridesmaid, Miss Nellie Burkart, carried white carnations and pink asters. Charles Robinson, brother of the groom, acted as groomsman.

The pretty decorations of the home were of evergreens and flowers. The groom's gift to the bride was a broach set with diamonds and pearls, to the bridesmaid, a broach set with diamonds and pearls, and to the groomsman a set of gold cuff link, buttons and pin.

After all had partaken of the dainty luncheon, Mr. and Mrs. Robinson left on the 8:25 train amid showers of confetti and rice. The bride travelled in a suit of ash grey, with hat to match. The happy couple will visit several western cities, and upon their return will reside in Detroit, Michigan.
