Pew-Hoskins

The marriage was solemnized on Thursday, 16 Jun 1921, at the Methodist parsonage in Colborne, with the Rev. Mr. Waldron officiating, of Miss Mamie Hoskins, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hoskins of Vanessa, and Mr. Leo Pew, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pew of Round Plains.

The bride was becomingly attired in a travelling suite of navy blue serge with hat to match, also a pearl necklace, the gift of the groom.

The bridesmaid for Miss F. Hamilton of Waterford, and Mr. Harvey Serles of Round Plains acted as best man. The groom's gift to the bridesmaid was a gold brooch, and to the best man a gold tie pin. After a small reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Mauthe of Simcoe, sister of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Pew motored to Waterford and took the M.C.R. from there for Detroit.

On their return they will reside in Round Plains. The bride was the recipient of many beautiful and useful presents.
