The Late
William Pemberton
After an illness of five
weeks' duration, the death occurred on Sunday, 24 Jul 1910 of
William Pemberton, aged 73 years. For the past two decades,
deceased was the editor and proprietor of the Delhi Reporter
newspaper. He is survived by a widow and a grown-up family,
consisting of three sons and two daughters.
The funeral took place on
Tuesday, 26 Jul 1910, Rev. Mr. Craig officiating. Mr. Pemberton's
demise was regretted by a large circle of friends, many of whom
sent floral offerings.
