Nelles-Hilborn

A very pleasing event took place Wednesday afternoon before a large assemblage at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Hilborn at Wilsonville, when the nuptials were solemnized between their only daughter, Hazel Armom and Ralph McIntyre Nelles, the Rev. G. W. Down officiating.

The home was beautifully decorated with palm and cut flowers, the ceremony taking place before a large bank of ferns, overhanging with clematis and white asters.

The bride was given away by her father and wore a charming gown of ivory satin trimmed with pearls, and carried a shower bouquet of orchids, Ophelia and sweetheart roses. The bridal veil of embroidered tulle was caught in a Russian coronot and was trimmed with pearls and orange blossoms.

Attending the bride was Miss Allie Silverthorn in orchid crepe and carrying a bouquet of Ophelia roses. Mr. Reg. McIntyre attended the groom as best man. Little Helen Mulligan in organdie acted as ring bearer and flower girl. During the signing of the register, Miss Lena Hall sang "For You Alone." The nuptial music was rendered by Mr. Maunsell Young.

Immediately following the ceremony a luncheon was served in a tent on the lawn. A toast to the bride was made my Mr. D. A. Hill and responded to by the groom. The happy couple left later on a motor trip to Detroit, Kalamazoo, Mich., Cleveland, Ohio, and other points, the bride travelling in a suit of blue tricotine with hat to match and wore a seal stole, the gift of the groom.
