Murton-Abraham

Waukegan, 3 Dec 1921 -- A quiet little wedding took place this afternoon at 2.30 at the Chapel of Christ Church, when Helen Abraham, oldest daughter of Mrs. Nellie Abraham of North Avenue, was married to Eric Murton of Waterford, Ontario, Canada. The Rev. Howard E. Ganster performed the ceremony. Only the immediate relatives were present.

Miss Abraham came over to America from England about two years ago with her mother and sister, Florence. It was while the trip over that she became acquainted with Mr. Murton, who was then coming to Canada from his home in England.

Mrs. Abraham is the sister of Wm. Rostron of North Avenue. The Abrahams came over to Canada where they stayed for a short time and then came to the United States and to Waukegan, where they have made their home ever since.

The bride has been employed by the Telephone Company here for the last year. She is a member of the Episcopal Church of this city and is well known among the young people.

After the ceremony the couple went to Chicago where they will remain for a short time, and then will go to Canada to make their home. Later on Mr. and Mrs. Murton will take a trip to England to visit his parents.
