The Late Zenous McPherson

The funeral of the late Zenous McPherson, who died at his home in Woodhouse on 25 Feb 1921, was held in Sunday, 27 Feb 1921, the service being conducted by Rev. [.]eller of Port Dover.

Deceased was 72 years of age. He had lived a very active life until within one week of his death. He was a progressive farmer and a man of sterling character. The cause of his death was heart failure.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lena McPherson, three sons and one daughter: Wilsons L McPherson of Simcoe, Emery H. McPherson of Windsor, R.H. McPherson of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. S. Reeves at home.

Interment took place in Port Dover Cemetery. The pall-bearers were: Samuel and George McPherson, R. Griffin, R. Sidway, James Misner and Stuart Reeves. There were many beautiful floral offerings.

The funeral of Zenus [sic] McPherson, a Woodhouse township farmer, who died on Friday aged 73 years, after a brief illness of one week, was held Sunday afternoon. 
Rev. H. F. Deller of Port Dover officiated.

His wife survives, with three sons: William [sic] L. of Simcoe, R. B. of Niagara Falls, and Emery H. of Windsor, and one daughter, at home.
