A Langton Wedding

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert McKibbon, Langton, was the scene of a pretty event on Thursday, 8 Sep 1910, at 12:30 p.m., when their only daughter, Lulu Myrtle, was united in marriage to Mr. George Deeg of Langton.

Rev. Mr. Dewey of Langton performed the ceremony, the bridal party standing in  front of a bank of evergreens and flowers, while Miss Olive Austin rendered Mendalssohn's wedding march.

The bride was prettily gowned in white organdie and carried a shower bouquet of white asters. Miss Mildred Austin of South Cayuga, cousin of the bride, who acted
as bridesmaid, were becomingly attired in pale blue albatross and carried a bouquet of pink asters. The groomsman was Mr. Stanley Deeg, brother of the groom.

A dainty wedding breakfast was served, after which the happy couple left on a honeymoon trip to Detroit, Saginaw and other points. On their return they will make their home on their farm near Langton.

The bride was the recipient of many beautiful and costly presents. Friends were present from Saginaw, Woodstock, Dunnville, Delhi, Courtland, Kinglake and Langton. Their many friends join in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Deeg every happiness and prosperity through life.
