A partial transcription of the Local Happenings column on page 5 of the 20 Oct 1921 issue of the Waterford Star newspaper.

Ross James McCoy, aged 16 months, son of Mr. and Mrs. William McCoy of Vanessa, died on Friday, 14 Oct 1921, after an illness of two months, with infantile paralysis followed by pneumonia. 

The funeral on Sunday was largely attended by sympathetic friends. Interment took place in Greenwood Cemetery. Pall bearers were: Lorne Proper, 
Robert Clement, Harold Kitchen and Gordon Bannister.
