A lightly edited partial transcription of the Waterford column on page 2 of the 29 Jul 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

WATERFORD

The funeral of the late Mrs. Helen McClung (nee Helen Flock) of Detroit, took place from the home of her uncle, Frank Granger.

The service was conducted by Rev. J. B. Moore, and interment took place in Greenwood Cemetery.

Those from a distance who attended the funeral were: 
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schier of Dunnville,
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Sovereign of Putnam,
Mrs. J. H. Flock and Mr. Wood of Ingersoll,
Mr. and Mrs. A. Roberts of Brantford.

The deceased, who was the second daughter of of the late J. Hamilton Flock, was in her 27th year. 

She had gone to Chicago on a visit, was suddenly stricken with intestinal trouble, rushed to Mercy Hospital, but in spite of all that could be done, succumbed to the inevitable, Wednesday, 21 Jul 1920.

The bereaved have the sympathy of their many friends.
