The Late Barnard McCawill [sic]

The death of Barnard McCawill [sic] occurred on Friday, 1 Apr 1910, in Townsend. Mr. McCawill [sic] had reached the age of 95 years and had always enjoyed good health until two months ago, when he became ill.

Deceased is survived by one son, J. J. McCawill [sic], with whom he lived, and two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Hyland of Simcoe and Mrs. James Murphy of Delhi.

Mr. McCawill [sic] was one of the best known and the oldest residents in Townsend.

The funeral took place from the residence of Mr. J. J. McCawill [sic] on Monday, 4 Apr 1910 to St. Mary's R.C. Church in Simcoe. Many friends attended the funeral, the cortege being about a mile in length.
