Death of Mrs. McAlpine.

Welland Telegraph. -- Many fried in the Welland district will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. A. J. McAlpine, the mother of Mr. I. W. McAlpine of Waterford.

Mrs. McAlpine had suffered a very severe illness for the past year and a half and death took place on Wednesday morning at the home of her son Bruce, she having been removed from her own home two moths ago on the occasion when it was visiting by fire.

Mrs. McAlpine was greatly esteemed and possessed many splendid qualities. Her gentle spirt and unfailing kindness and sympathy were outstanding characteristics, and she added to this a beautiful devotion to her family of whom there were eight sons and one daughter.
