Mrs. J. P. Mabee Dead

Mrs. Mabee, wife of Hon. J. P. Mabee, chairman of the Dominion Railway Commission, died in Toronto on Friday, after an illness of many months.

Mrs. Mabee was a daughter of the late William Thorold of St. Williams, Norfolk County, Ontario. She had been in poor health for some years and last year accompanied by her husband, she visited London, England, to consult eminent physicians. Very little hope for her recovery was then held out.

She is survived by a son, Lionel, a daughter, Miss Mabel, two sisters, Mrs. (Dr.) Davidson and Miss Elsie of Toronto, and one brother, C. H. Thorold, formerly of Stratford.
