Port Rowan

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Culver Myers was the scene of a quiet wedding on Monday last, when Mrs. Myer's sister, Mrs. Lillian Fick of Houghton was united in marriage to Mr. George L. Leedham, hardware merchant of this village. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. W. Schofield in the presence of a few friends. The happy couple took the afternoon train for Toronto. Upon their return Mr. and Mrs. Leedham will live in their fine residence on Ellis Street. A large circle of friends extend congratulations.

A quiet wedding took place at the Rectory on Saturday last, the contracting parties being Mr. Harry Checker and Miss Catharine Breaugh. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. A. Bray. Mr. and Mrs. Checker will reside in this village.
