A quiet wedding took place at the residence of the bride's parents, the Model Farm, Simcoe, on Wednesday, 3 Nov 1920, when Miss Bessie M. Culver, eider daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Culver, became the bride of Mr. W. Stanley Lawrence, only son of Mr. Joshua Lawrence of Oxford Centre, Ontario.

Rev. W. H. Garnham of Toronto officiated at the ceremony which took place at 9.30 a.m., in the presence of the near relatives of the bride and groom, and a few intimate friends.

After receiving the hearty congratulations of all present, the happy couple proceeded by auto to Waterford, where they boarded the M.C.R. train for Chicago and other western points, and on their return will reside at Oxford Centre, near Woodstock.

The bride has been one of the popular young ladies of Simcoe and vicinity and for her and her husband a long, happy and useful career is anticipated. The wedding presents were numerous and useful.
