Waterford resident died in Townsend

Francelia Collard, aged 64 years, relic of the late Robert C. Kemp, died Friday, 19 Aug 1921, at the home of her son, William Kemp in Townsend township. The late Mrs. Kemp has been an invalid for several years, and lived in Waterford for the past 12 years until just one month before her death. Mr. Kemp died and Mrs. Kemp went out to live with her son.

The deceased was a member of the Methodist church, and bore her afflictions with Christian fortitude. She is survived by two sons, William of Townsend and Robert of Niagara Falls, Ont. One sister, Josephine Collard of Vancouver, B.C., and one brother, W. Collard of Smithville, also survive. To these and other sorrowing relatives much sympathy is extended in their sad double bereavement.

The funeral took place Monday, 22 Aug 1921 at 2.00 p.m. The services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. H. Wilkins, assisted by Rev. J. D. MacLachlan, B.A. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Among those who attended from a distance were, Mr. and Mrs. M. Wilcox and Mrs. Robert Teeter of Grimsby; Mr. John Book and Mr. W. Collard of Smithville.
