Simcoe Boy Dead.

Simcoe, 6 Feb 1907 -- Word was received this morning of the sudden death of Joseph D. Jackson. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Jackson of Simcoe, and was 18 years, 9 months old.

About two years ago he entered the Bank of Commerce here, and last fall he was transferred to the head office, Toronto, and at the time of death was junior inspector.

He was taken to the General Hospital a short time ago, suffering from appendicitis, and an operation was performed on Monday, but he had become so weak that he died Tuesday night.
