Items of Local Interest

The home of Mr. Joseph Charlton was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Wednesday, 29 Sep 1920, at 1 o'clock, when Howard Hoover and Miss Pearl Charlton were united in the holy bonds of matrimony.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. Carpenter of Brantford. The numerous and costly gifts were a tribute to the esteem in which the young couple were held.

After a dainty luncheon, the wedding party left for Brantford, Hamilton, and other points. They leave shortly for their home in Michigan.
