Items of Local Interest

On Wednesday afternoon, 25 Aug 1920, at the Rectory, by Rev. A. B. Farney, Miss Verna Jane Nicholas of Simcoe was married to Mr. Leo Harold McDonald of Simcoe.

The witnesses were Miss Edna Nicholas and Mr. Lloyd McDonald, sister and brother of the contracting parties.

Mr. and Mrs. McDonald will reside in Simcoe.

Items of Local Interest

Miss Eva May Hillis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hillis of Head Street South, Simcoe, was married Wednesday afternoon, 25 Aug 1920, at five o'clock, by Rev. A. B. Farney, to Mr. Percy Elgin Pingley of Detroit. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents. 

Miss Effie Irene Hillis, sister of the bride, and Mr. Clarence Brandow of Langton, were the witnesses.

After a short honeymoon trip, Mr. and Mrs. Pingley will reside in Detroit.
