Wedding Bells

A very happy event occurred on Wednesday, 8 Jun 1910, at 6.30 p.m., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dixon, when Mr. Charles Headley and Miss Anna Dixon were united in marriage by Rev. P. K. Dayfoot.

The bride was given away by her father, Mr. W. C. Dixon, and was attended by Miss Hazel Buckley, while the groom was supported by Mr. Elmer Ramey.

The wedding was performed under an arch of Smilax and flowers, and the march was played by Mrs. [Kate] Sutton. The bride was gowned in white silk with tulle veil and carried a bouquet of white roses and lily-of-the-valley.

After the marriage, a large number sat down to lunch, and at 8 p.m. the happy couple left for Indiana. The going-away gown was of amethyst cloth, with large black hat. Mr. and Mrs. Headley will return about June 20th, and will reside in town.
