Green-Scott.

Hagersville News -- An exceedingly pretty wedding was solemnized on Thursday last at the residence of Mr. J. H. Scott, when his youngest daughter, Minnie Gertrude, was united in marriage to Mr. Lewis Green of Simcoe.

The drawing room was profusely decorated with ferns, roses, sweet peas and orange blossoms. The Rev. C. H. Lowry officiated, and the bride, who was given away by her father, was unattended. She wore a dainty costume of white lingerie trimmed with lace. Miss Maud Howard played the wedding march. Only the immediate relatives were present.

Following the ceremony a recherche dejeuner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Green left on the afternoon train for Atlantic City, the bride's travelling costume being a bronze green tailored suit with becoming hat to match.

The presents were unusually numerous and valuable, and including a handsome cheque from the bride's father. Mr. and Mrs. Green will be at home to their friends in Simcoe about 1 Sep 1910.

The outside guests were:
Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Geo. Hall and Miss Ethel of Dunnville,
Mrs. Culver and son Kenneth of Waterford,
and Mr. John McCoy of Port Dover.
