"At the fall assizes
which opened at London Monday afternoon, Henrietta Goodlad of
Simcoe, and Lizzie Goodlad brought action against Peter C. Wilson
of London for alleged seduction against Lizzie Goodlad, the damage
claim being for $5,000.
The defendant declared that the plaintiff, Lizzie Goodlad, was a
married woman and that he was not the father of the child.
The case was adjourned."
