An edited abbreviated page 5 article from the 23 Jun 1921 issue of the Waterford Star.

A Delightful Outing

[Eastern Ontario newspaper men took a train trip to the western coast.]

We had the pleasure of meeting several former Waterford people:
Mr. and Mrs. W. Nicholson and Miss Lena Burke, at Winnipeg; Mr. Harry Hearn at Saskatoon;
Mr. J. Fred Little, John Kortum and Elgin Mason at Vancouver;

We also had a talk over the phone with Mrs. Little and Mr. A. M. Little. They were leaving for Vancouver Island the day we arrived.

At Calgary we met Cameron Doughty and at Regina Mr. Geo. Boyce, Mr. Fred Barber, Mrs. Barrington (nee
Clara Secord), and Mrs. Kennedy (nee Amelia Secord) and Alfred Messecar. We also talked over the phone with Mrs. Boyce.

They all wished to be remembered to old Waterford friends.
