Death of Mrs. Erwin

Mrs. Mary Fitzgerald Erwin died at her home in Waterford on Sunday last, after an illness of about two weeks. Deceased was born in Limerick, Ireland, 78 years ago and came to this country when she was 12 years of age. She married Robert C. Erwin at Markham in 1865 and lived in Villa Nova, Jarvis and Hamilton, before coming to Waterford 11 years ago. Her surviving children are Robert, Margaret, Mary and Nora, who have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in the loss of a kind and affectionate mother.

The service on Tuesday , conducted by Rev. F. Richard. Rev. James Ward preached the sermon. Friends were present from Brantford, Hamilton and Simcoe. Interment took place in Greenwood Cemetery.

The many beautiful floral offerings testified to the high esteem in which deceased was held. There were -- Standing Cross: Family, Cross: Mr. and Mrs. N. Campbell of Simcoe, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ramey of Simcoe, Mrs. Lockard, Mrs. and Mrs. Clarence Hellyer and Gladys, Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Little and Mrs. J. Kilgour.
