1870 - Golden Wedding - 1920

A rare and happy wedding anniversary was celebrated by Mr. and Mrs. Lewis William Fick, Simcoe, on the event of their 50th year of marriage, Monday, 20 Sep 1920.

The Reformer is very glad to know that Mr. and Mrs. Fick are both enjoying health of a fair degree at the respective ages of 73 and 70 years.

The many relatives and friends of this respected couple in Norfolk County join heartily in wishing them health and happiness for many succeeding years.

Mrs. R. J. Hawn and children of Youngstown, Ohio;
Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Fick, Hamilton;
Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Fick and family of Simcoe;
Mr. Douglas Fick of Belleville;
Miss Edith Parr of Sarnia;
Dr. and Mrs. W. A. Blake and son of Hamilton (the son represented the great- grandchild of the family);
Mrs. Samuel Fick of Port Dover;
Miss G. Dibbell of New York City;
Mrs. Fred Pollard and Miss Bernice, Tillsonburg;
Mrs. S. Foster and daughter of Port Royal;
Mrs. J. E. Wood, Simcoe.
