A lightly edited partial transcription of the Delhi column on page 15 of the 28 Oct 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

DELHI

The funeral of the late John Cole took place in Delhi on Wednesday last. 

Mr. Cole passed away after a lengthy illness at his home in Burlington and the remains were shipped to Delhi for interment.

The funeral took place from the residence 
of Mrs. J. H. Ferguson.

Mr. Cole was for many years a pominent farmer of Windham and retired from the farm now owned by Sam Spencer

He leaves a widow, one daughter, Mrs. 
C. Beck, and one son, E. Cole of Calgary,
all of whom attended the funeral. 

Mr. and Mrs. Judson Hubbard of Toronto also attended.
