Cline-McRuer

Brampton Conservator, 9 Jun 1921 -- Owing to recent bereavement in the family of the bride, the marriage of Mrs. Edith McRuer, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bullock of Brampton, to Harry J. Cline, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Cline of Boston, Ont., was very quietly celebrated yesterday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Donald McHugh, 75 Dunn Ave., Toronto. The ceremony was performed by Rev. R. W. Allen of Brampton.

Only a few relatives witnessed the marriage, the bride being given away by her brother, Earnest Bullock. The bride wore a gown of sand colored canton crepe and carried Ophelia roses. A wedding luncheon was served, after which the bride and groom left on a motor trip to Buffalo, Cleveland and other points, the bride travelling in navy blue with hat to match. On their return, Mr. and Mrs. Cline will reside in Boston.

The bride is one of the best known and most popular young ladies of the town and has been closely associated with the A.Y.P.A. of Christ Church, taking a prominent part in the Dramatic Society during the past two years.
