An account follows of the wedding of John B. Carpenter, son of Wellington J. Carpenter of Port Dover, and grandson of the late John Brock Carpenter of Townsend.

The wedding of Miss Lillie A. Hoefer to John B. Carpenter of Oshkosh, Wis., which took place at 6.30 o'clock Wednesday night, 30 Mar 1910, in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Hoefer,
427 Twentieth avenue, Milwaukee, Wis. was a green and white wedding.

Easter lilies were chiefly used in decorations, and the flowers carried by the bride and her attendants were green and white.

The Rev. Mr. Wallace of Bethany Presbyterian Church read the marriage service. Miss Maud Spice of St. Louis was maid of honor. The Misses Jessie Boyd and Esther [Haagerman] of Evanston, were bridesmaids.
Luther Carpenter of Bay City, Michigan was best man.
Richard [Luck] of Chicago and Carl Jensen of Oshkosh were groomsmen.

The marriage ceremony was performed beneath a canopy of ferns and Easter lilies. Miss Clara [Spice] of St. Louis played the wedding march. A wedding dinner of 35 covers followed the ceremony. The table centre piece was a beautiful bouquet of Easter lilies.

The bride wore a gown of white crepe de chine trimmed with pearls and carried a shower bouquet of lilies-of- the-valley. She wore a necklace and broach of pearls, the gift of the groom.

After a wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter will reside in Oshkosh.

Among the out-of-town guests were:
