Death of S. H. Canfield

Mr. Salem H. Canfield of Windham Centre died in the Brantford hospital on Monday, 23 May 1921. He was operated on for cancer of the stomach, but it was found the operation would be of no avail. He had been in poor health for nearly a year.

His wife, one daughter Helen, and three brothers, Taylor, Algernon and Delos, survive.

Mr. Canfield was one of Windham's best known and most highly respected citizens and the sincere sympathy of a very wide circle of friends is extended to the bereaved family.

The funeral will be held from his residence this afternoon (Thursday). The service will be held in the Windham Centre Methodist Church and interment will take place in Windham Cemetery.
