Bowyer-Butler

A very quiet wedding took place in Mt. Zion Methodist Church on Monday, 13 Sep 1920, when Ethel, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. R. Butler of Renton, was reunited in marriage to Rex Bowyer of Simcoe.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Wm. Shaw.

The bride wore her travelling suit of navy tricotine with blue plush hat and black fur.

Miss Tessa Armstrong of Simcoe attended the bride, while the groom was supported by Delbert Butler, brother of the bride.

Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Bowyer left for Toronto and Kingston and on their return will reside near Hamilton.
