LOCAL ITEMS

Mr. William Allen, who left Simcoe some five years ago for Australia, is back in town again.

Some time after arriving in Australia, he enlisted in the 19th Battalion, bound for France.

Later whilst in England he accidentally
met his brother George in the Canadian uniform.

After the war George returned to Simcoe with his English bride and William
returned to Australia with his battalion.

He has returned to Canada with the intention of settling down in the only country worth while.
