Three Pioneers Die

Simcoe Reformer -- Three funerals in Norfolk County this week:

The late Mrs. George McKinnon of Fenwick, who died on Friday, was buried in Woodhouse Methodist Cemetery on Saturday at 2 p.m. She is survived by a husband and three children. She was a daughter of the late William Boughner of Woodhouse.

Mrs. Arthur Hobbs, nee Sarah Jane Lemon, who died in Brantford on Friday, was buried in Oakwood Cemetery on Sunday with Rev. P. Nicol officiating.

Mr. John R. Butler, who died at his home in Woodhouse last Sunday and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery Tuesday afternoon, was a grandson of the man who, it is claimed, obtained the first land deed in Norfolk County.
