Charles Jones, 41, died of pneumonia in Brantford general hospital. Mr. Jones moved to Brantford from Norwich a short time ago, and was  employed at Pratt and Letchford's. He was born in Vittoria, Norfolk County, and is survived by a wife and three small children.

Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Brown of Waterford announce the engagement of their only daughter, Ida Eva, to J. Bruce Burns of Dunnville, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Burns of Waterford, the marriage to take place the latter part of February.

Dr. O. H. Duncombe and Mrs. Lula Duncombe were married in Toronto on Monday by Rev. F. C. Elliott.
They left at once for a trip to Florida.

Mrs. Ella Shirton will receive for the first time at her home on Alice Street, Friday, 18 Feb 1921, from four to six, and afterwards on the third Wednesday of each month.

Mrs. James Stuart of Tyrrell is spending the week with her daughter, Mrs. Leamon Lewis.

Pte. Alexander Schram enlisted in 1872 and served under Col. Otter, Gen. Milton, Capt. Ellis, Col. Thompson,
Col. Combes, Col. York, Col. Thissel, Col. Atkinson,
Col. Renton, Col. Mabee, Col. Aikens, and Capt. Smith during his long military service.
