A lightly edited partial transcription of the Bookton column on page 15 of the 2 Dec 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

BOOKTON

There died at her home here on Tuesday, 
23 Nov 1920, Mrs. Prosper Winskell after an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Winskell was very highly respected and will be sadly missed both in the home and this vicinity. Interment took place in Bookton Cemetery on Thursday, 25 Nov 1920.

Hiram Parker, an old and respected resident, died at his home near LaSalette 
on Thursday, 25 Nov 1920. Mr. Parker had been a patient sufferer and death came as a release from almost unendurable pain. Interment at Bookton, Saturday, 
27 Nov 1920.
