Mr. J. Cowan of Walsingham, 16 Jan 1901.

James Lisk [sic, actually Leask] of Windham married Miss Ella Nora [sic] Widner of Simcoe, on New Years Eve.

Mr. Ace Robinson of the Beemer House, married Miss Annie McCardell of Linden, in Detroit.

Mr. T. C. Savage has completed his optical course at the Ophthalmic College in Toronto.

Ed. Strohm's funeral was held Sunday at Wilsonville.

C. G. Warren of Port Dover drowned 24 Nov 1900. His body was found 21 Jan 1901 on the north shore of Long Point.

Miss Ella Maude Howey of Boston married Clarence Kettle of Wilsonville, on Wednesday.

Mrs. Isreal Kitchen died at Bloomsburg on Sunday last.

Robert McCarter has traded his farm for the Bragg farm north of Jarvis.

Mrs. (Judge) McMahon died Thursday in Simcoe.

Miss Lena Miller of Vanessa married John S. Shank of Norwich, 30 Jan 1901.

A. T. Stuart of Tyrrell wears a broad smile.

Mr. E. C. Carpenter has received the Liberal nomination for the Legislature.

Daddy Hayward celebrated his 75th birthday on Saturday.

George H. Leask married Miss Mabel M. Smith of Windham on 6 Feb 1901.

A surprise party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Mason on 26 Jan 1901, previous to their departure for Hagersville.

I. G. McInally of Windham died of pneumonia Sunday.

W. H. Misener of Tyrrell attended the birthday party of his uncle, Adam Misener of Troy, who is 103 years old.
