Atherton

Mr. Burton Young, one of our oldest residents, 
passed away on Sunday Aug. 6th, at the home 
of his son, Warren Young, in Saskatchewan, 
where he had been for a few months and was 
laid to rest in Salem Cemetery, on Sunday, Aug. 13th.

He leaved to mourn his loss a wife, two sons, 
Warren of Saskatchewan, 
Stanley of Cadillac, Mich., 
and five daughters, 
Mrs. J. Yonson of Toronto,
Mrs. J. Lemons og [sic] Port Colborne,
Mrs. Demmings [sic] of Cadillac, Mich.,
Mrs. F. Butler of Vittoria,
and Mrs. H. Davidson of this place.

Rev. Mr. Meek of Lynedoch had charge of the services. 

Compiler's Comments: 
We found no surviving readable stone for Burton Young in Salem Cemetery in 2008.
Deceased full name was George Burton Young.
Kate, daughter of Burton Young, reportedly married Lundy Jackson Deming.
