Late Joseph Youmans

There passed away at his home on Brock Street, at a late hour on Monday evening, Mr. Joseph Youmans, in his 76th year.

About two weeks ago he suffered a serious accident when he fell from the top of the wall of the new public school building in the south ward.

He had been sitting on a pile of bricks watching the men at work and in some way lost his balance and fell some 25 feet to the basement.

Pneumonia developed and other complications which were more than his none too robust physique could withstand.

He leaves four children, two sons, Mr. Wyatt Youmans of Toronto and Mr. Herbert Youmans of Rockford, Ill., and two daughters, the Misses May and Mabel Youmans, who made their home with him here.
