MRS. ALFRED WOODS

Waterford: The death occurred after a short illness in Norfolk General Hospital on Friday, 31 Oct 1947 of Maude Eva Golden, beloved wife of the late Alfred Woods.

Mrs. Woods was born in Sunderland, Ontario on 15 Jan 1892, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Golden, and attended school in that area. 
On 8 Dec 1914, she married Alfred Woods, who predeceased her on 30 Jun 1945.

Mrs. Woods was a resident of Waterford for a number of years and was a member of Waterford United Church.

She leaves to mourn their loss three daughters, Mrs. Bev. Evans (Gladys), Mrs. Lyle Kirk (Madeline) both of Waterford, and Mrs. Robert Black (Mabel) of Hamilton; two grandchildren, David Evans and Cheryl Black; two sisters, Mrs. George Dicker of Orillia and Mrs. Robert Allen of Detroit; and one brother, Mr. Henry Golden of Uxbridge.

Mrs. Woods has been resting at Mott Bros'. Funeral Home, Waterford, where service is being held this afternoon, Monday, at 2.30 p.m., in charge of Rev. Edward Shaw. Interment is in Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.
