Sudden Death of A. Wolfe

Collapsed While Dressing for Breakfast Monday Morning

Death came with startling suddenness Monday morning to Albert Wolfe, who lived at 162 Norfolk street south.

Mr. Wolfe had just risen from bed and had been speaking with his wife, who brought him fresh clothes, when he suddenly collapsed, and in a very short time the vital spark had fled.

The late Mr. Wolfe was in his 74th year, and had been in Canada since 1855, coming here from Germany, where he was born.

For a great number of years he farmed in Windham, and for the last twelve years has worked with Mr. Curtis as a shoe workman. He was a steady, conscientious and very expert workman, and had been at his bench as usual on Saturday.

The deceased was married a second time, the survivors of his first marriage being Mrs. Michael O'Brien, Windham Centre;
Mrs. Seigerman, Otterville; and Frank Wolfe of Windham.

His second wife and the following step-children also survive:
Mrs. Cameron McBride, Grand Rapids, Mich.;
Mrs. McNamara, Simcoe; Mrs. Wm. H. Sharpe, Saskatchewan;
and Bruce Steinhoff, Simcoe.

The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at three o'clock from his late residence, 162 Norfolk street south, to Oakwood Cemetery.
