Windham Pair 50 Years Wed

Mr. and Mrs. John Wintermute of Windham Township will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary on Monday with family and friends.

Both enjoy fine health and are active. He manages his own farm . She does her own housework.

John Wintermute was born in 1868 at Waterford, a son of James Wintermute. Other members of his family still living are George Wintermute of Delhi and Mrs. Martha Furler of Windham Township. 
A lifelong resident of Norfolk County, John has lived on his present farm about 33 years.

Mrs. Wintermute was born Mary Jane Broughton in Windham, 
a daughter of John Wesley Broughton. A lifelong resident of 
Windham Township, she has one sister living, Mrs. Edith Depotie 
of Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Members of Lynnville Baptist Church, they have seven children, four sons and three daughters: Alfred of Port Dover, Clarence of Lynnville, Jack of Delhi, Roy at home, Mrs. William Rice of Woodhouse, 
Mrs. David Larmour of Simcoe, and Mrs. Louis Whiting of Lynnville.

They also have eight grandchildren.
