Emmanuel Winter

The death of Emmanuel Leslie Winter occurred in Queen Alexandra Sanatorium, Byron, on Saturday, March 8, in his 61st year, after an illness of about nine months.

Mr. Winter was a resident of Walsingham, and was predeceased by his wife, the former Miss Hettie Frances Mills, on January 22nd.

Mr. Winter is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Roloson of Simcoe and Mrs. Mike Tostik of R.R. 6, Simcoe; five sons, Leslie of London, Charles of Houghton, Leonard of Walsingham, and Allan and Peter at home, one sister, Mrs. Alfred Hughes of R.R. 6, St. Thomas; one brother, Norman Winter of R.R. 1, Simcoe, also 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Interment was in the First Baptist Cemetery of Houghton,

Mrs. Emmanuel Winter

On Wednesday of last week Hattie Frances Winter, wife of Emmanuel Winter of the 6th Concession of South Walsingham, passed away in her 59th year.

The funeral was held at the Ostrander Funeral Home, Tillsonburg, on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Interment was made in the cemetery of Frist Baptist Church, Houghton.
