Introduction | Source Documents | Other Sources | Photocopies | Back

A lightly edited partial transcription of the Delhi Reporter column on page 8 of the 1 Apr 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer.

Mr. Richard Peck received copies of Calgary papers this week which contain a lengthy account of the death of Mr. J. Wilson, father of the late Mrs. Stanley McKim. The account speaks very highly of the deceased gentleman as he was one of the pioneers of the the western city and a very prominent man.

Another copy of the same paper contains an account of his daughter's death, who passed away a few days after him. She was married to Mr. Fred Tarrant and leaves three small children, the eldest being six years of age. She was born in Delhi 37 years ago.

Mr. Wilson was a brother-in-law of Mr. Peck.
