The Late Mrs. Augustus Wilson

An old and very greatly esteemed resident of Simcoe passed away on Thursday morning of last week in the person of Mrs. Augustus Wilson.

It must be over forty years since Mrs. Wilson, then Miss Gibson, came to Simcoe to manage the millinery department in the store of the late Mr. William Wilson.

Soon afterwards she became the wife of Mr. Wilson's brother and together they journeyed happily down life's pathway until some three years ago, when the husband was called by death.

The funeral of the deceased lady took place to the cemetery at St. John's Church, Woodhouse, on Saturday afternoon.

The services were conducted by Rev. A. B. Farney
of Simcoe and Rev. T. L. Armstrong of Delhi.

The pall-bearers were: Geo. McKiee, J. B. Jackson,
W. Y. Wallace, W. P. Price, D. Matthews, and
Andrew McKnight.
