Death of Mrs. Sarah Widner

In the death of Mrs. Sarah Widner, widow of the late Warren Widner, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maud Martin, in Detroit, on December 27th last, there passed away at the ripe old age of 82, another link with the past in Norfolk County.

Born in Toronto, she came with her parents at an early age to Norfolk County, where, with the exception of some years spent in Paris, she lived her long and useful life.

She leaves one brother, W. J. Robinson of Chicago; and three sons, Arthur and George of Simcoe, and John of Swift Current, Sask.; and two daughters, Mrs. W. H. McCarthy of Toronto and Mrs. Maud Martin, Detroit.

The funeral took place last Saturday from the home of Mr. G. R. Widner, 265 Colborne Street, to Oakwood Cemetery.
