A Large Funeral

The funeral of the late Wor. Bro. Gilbert Wells, P.D.D.G.M., was held in Simcoe on Thursday afternoon last.

A short service was conducted at the house by Rev. D. Dack, after which the members of the Masonic Order marched from the lodge room to the house and conducted services.

The procession of masons was the largest ever witnessed in Norfolk County. The 39th Band led the procession, followed by the members of the Blue Lodge from Simcoe, Waterford, Port Dover, Port Rowan, Delhi, Tillsonburg, and Scotland. Next came the members of the chapter followed by the officers of the Norfolk Lodge.
