Buried at Simcoe

Simcoe, Oct. 9--The funeral of the late Mrs. Geo. Vail, who died 
in Meaford at the home of her son, Rev. Leslie H. Vail, on Sunday, 
was held yesterday afternoon from the residence of her son, 
Thomas E. Vail, Woodhouse.

The bearers were five sons and one grandson: the two sons above mentioned, William of Stoney Creek, Cecil of Montreal, and 
Amos of Townsend, and Ross Vail, grandson of Dunnville.

The profuse floral tributes included sprays from the congregation 
and boards of managers of the Baptist church, Meaford.

The ceremonies at the house and grave were conducted by 
Rev. H. C. Newcombe, pastor of the Simcoe Baptist church. 
Among those in attendance for a distance were: 
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Vail, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tallman and 
Mrs. Harvey Taman, Hamilton; Mr. and Mrs. Wilcox, Smithville;
Clark Vail, Paris; Miss Sadie Russ, Woodstock;
Mr. and Mrs. Kilber Limburner and daughter, Dunnville; 
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Orth and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Grubb, Beamsville.
